The sun is just beginning to dip, casting that perfect, golden glow over the Black Hills. The air smells like pine and prairie grass, and there’s a hum of something electric in the air—not just from the wind moving through the hills, but from you. Standing here, on the edge of everything.
Senior year is weird, isn’t it? You’re holding onto the familiar—the locker that’s been yours since freshman year, the same coffee shop order, the way your friends laugh until they cry in the parking lot after Friday night games. But you’re also stretching toward the unknown, toward the late-night college applications and the whispered, What’s next? conversations.
So we capture both.
Maybe we start downtown, where the streets hold years of memories. You spin in the crosswalk, boots clicking against the pavement, laughing as the breeze tugs at your jacket. Maybe there’s a bookshop you love, or a coffee shop where you’ve spent hours studying (or pretending to). We snap a few shots there, the ones that feel like home.
Then, we drive. Out past the city, where the road winds toward something wilder. The Badlands, maybe—where the sky stretches endlessly and the ridges look like they were carved by time itself. Or a quiet spot in the Hills, where you sit in the grass, the wind brushing against your face, staring out at a future that feels both so close and so impossibly big.
This isn’t about stiff poses or awkward smiles. It’s about freezing time—just for a moment—before everything shifts. It’s about capturing who you are, right now, in the in-between. The anticipation. The freedom. The magic of almost.
Let’s make it a session that feels like you.
